Jackie has been my partner since 1989. Between us we have five children and eight grandchildren

People who have informed my approaches include: Patrick Hendrickson (Ojibwa Sundance Chief), Eru Kaukau, Dame Tariana Turia and Gary Williams

Places that influence me include: Otara, Kahurangi National Park, Te Tai Tapu and the Takaka Hill

Personal experiences that contribute to who I am include: learning how to manage complex post traumatic stress disorder (in the 1980s) and managing chronic pain (multi-level foraminal stenosis) assist me to focus on what matters.
